This piece was carved and painted by Dylan. This was his first time working with ginkgo wood and he’s had the idea to incorporate elements from the trees into his subjects for some time. This piece marks his first step in that direction by incorporating the forms and colors of ginkgo leaves into the dragon’s form design.
